Instructor eligibility and approval

- Any signed-in member may apply to teach. Applications include a biography, skills, teaching areas, languages, portfolio description and relevant experience.
- Only Nonofo Academy administrators can approve, reject, suspend or restore an instructor, and approve new teaching areas. Nobody can approve their own application.
- Approval is not employment and does not guarantee bookings or income.
Independent classes

- Approved instructors may offer independent live classes that are not tied to a Nonofo Academy course, in approved areas: digital and technology, career, business and online income, languages and communication, practical and trade skills, and other administrator-approved areas.
- Academic school subjects are not available for live listings at this time.
- Any signed-in learner may book a published independent class that has places available.
Course-linked mentorship

- A session may optionally be linked to one of the four AI Build Studio courses. Booking a course-linked session requires active enrolment in that course.
- Live sessions are optional and never replace the self-paced course or its requirements.
Group sessions and workshops

- One-to-one sessions take one learner. Group classes and workshops have a fixed number of places, enforced when you book.
- Sessions last 30, 45 or at most 60 minutes.
Booking and attendance

- You must be signed in to book. You can hold only one active booking per session, and you cannot book your own session.
- Please join on time; instructors may record a no-show if you do not attend.
Cancellation and refunds

- Every live class follows Nonofo Academy's shared cancellation, attendance and refund policies, including the Payments, Refunds, Cancellations and Chargebacks Policy. Instructors cannot set or substitute their own terms.
- You may cancel your own booking from My live bookings before the session.
- Payments are not active. Before paid bookings are offered, refund terms will be published. Each request, including when an instructor does not attend, will be reviewed by a person and processed through the secure payment provider where a refund is due.
Platform commission and instructor payout

- Paid bookings are not open yet. Booking for paid sessions opens only after a secure payment connection is completed.
- When active, Nonofo Academy keeps a platform commission (currently 20%, set by administrators between 0% and 50%).
- The payment gateway fee is deducted from the instructor's payout, not from Nonofo Academy's commission. Payout = payment − platform commission − gateway fee.
- All calculations are recorded on the server. No payout is marked as paid without confirmed payment and a recorded administrator action. Instructors must never ask learners to pay them directly.
Conduct, safeguarding and respectful communication

- Instructors and learners must communicate respectfully, stay on the session topic and follow Nonofo Academy's safeguarding expectations.
- Harassment, discrimination, sharing prohibited content and requests for off-platform payment are not allowed.
- Nonofo Academy may pause listings or suspend instructors who break these rules.
Privacy and private meeting links

- Sessions take place on the external meeting provider named in the listing (Zoom, Google Meet or another approved provider).
- Meeting links are private. They are shown only to the confirmed learner, the instructor and Nonofo Academy administrators, never on public pages.
- Nonofo Academy does not record or store live sessions and provides no downloadable recordings. Please do not record without everyone's consent.
Complaints, disputes and administrator intervention

- Raise a concern through the Help page. Include the session title and date.
- Administrators can review booking and audit records, pause listings, suspend instructors and, when payments are active, decide refunds.
- Safeguarding concerns are treated as a priority — see the Safeguarding page.
