How fees work
Every sale takes exactly one route, decided by our server when the buyer pays. Nobody is charged anything secretly: this page shows every share.

Who gets credit for a sale
- Every sale takes exactly one route, decided by our server at the moment of payment — never by the seller and never changed afterwards.
- An affiliate link beats a tutor link when a buyer used both. Otherwise the most recent tutor or affiliate link clicked within 30 days gets the credit; with no link, the sale is a marketplace sale.
- A tutor can't be an affiliate on their own item, and buying through your own link pays nobody a commission.
- Every sale in your Earnings page shows its route and a "Credited to" line, so you can always see exactly who was credited and why.
- Items sold by Nonofo Academy itself: marketplace and own-link sales are 100% Nonofo. On an affiliate sale the affiliate gets 25% (currently) and Nonofo keeps the rest.
- Shares are of the item price. Where VAT applies, it is added on top and is not part of anyone's share.
- Paystack's fee comes off first and is shared in proportion to each share. In Nigeria it is about 1.5% + ₦100 — see Paystack's pricing for current rates.
- Affiliate shares are set per item by its tutor; Nonofo's share and the routes are the same for everyone.
Worked examples: a ₦20,000 tutor course
Before Paystack's fee. On a ₦20,000 sale Paystack's fee is about ₦400 (1.5% + ₦100), and each person's share carries its own part of it.

When and how money arrives
- Every payment goes through Paystack. Paystack splits it at the moment of payment and settles each share directly to the bank account the tutor or affiliate verified with Paystack, on Paystack's settlement schedule.
- Nonofo does not hold your money, and there is no wallet or balance.
- Your Earnings page shows every sale as it happens: route, Paystack fee, Nonofo share and your share.
- A refund shows as "Refund pending" until Paystack confirms it. If your share was already paid out, it is recovered from your next sales — never more than half of your share on any single sale, with the rest carried over to later sales — and your Earnings page shows "Recovering ₦X from refunds".
- Buyers have a 14-day window from purchase to raise a dispute. While a dispute is open the sale's shares stay pending and are not treated as available. This does not affect your legal consumer rights or your bank's or card issuer's dispute rights.
